Refund & Billing Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund & Billing Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, billing practices, subscription management, and refund terms applicable to the Nexus platform (the “Service”) operated by TuringX (OPC) Pvt Ltd (“TuringX”, “Nexus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy forms an integral part of the Nexus Terms of Service. By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

2. Subscription Model

Nexus operates on a subscription-based pricing model. Access to the Service is granted based on an active subscription plan selected by the user.

  • Billed in advance for the applicable billing cycle
  • Automatically renewed at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled
  • Subject to the pricing, usage limits, and feature entitlements associated with the selected plan

Users are responsible for ensuring that their billing information is accurate and up to date at all times.

In addition to standard subscription tiers, Nexus may offer an enterprise-level or “Apex” plan, which is a custom subscription made available to select customers. The Apex plan is:

  • Defined exclusively through negotiated commercial agreements between TuringX and the customer
  • Governed by mutually agreed contractual terms, including pricing, billing cycles, service scope, and service levels
  • Not subject to standard pricing, limits, or features applicable to publicly listed plans

Where a customer is enrolled in an Apex plan, the terms of the executed agreement shall prevail over this Policy in the event of any conflict or inconsistency.

3. Free Trial

Nexus offers a twenty-one (21) day free trial period for new users on standard subscription plans.

During the trial period:

  • Users may access the features of the selected plan
  • No charges are applied until the trial period expires

At the end of the trial period:

  • The subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless canceled prior to expiration
  • Billing will commence based on the selected plan and billing cycle

The free trial is intended for evaluation purposes and may be subject to reasonable usage limitations to prevent abuse. TuringX reserves the right to modify, limit, or withdraw the free trial offering at its discretion.

The free trial does not apply to Apex (enterprise/custom) plans. Access to Apex plans is governed exclusively by separately negotiated agreements between TuringX and the customer.

4. Billing and Payments

All payments for subscriptions are:

  • Due in advance of the billing period
  • Processed through authorized payment providers (e.g., Razorpay)
  • Non-transferable between accounts

Invoices, where applicable, will be generated in accordance with the selected plan and billing cycle.

Failure to successfully process payment may result in service disruption.

5. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled by the user prior to renewal.

If a user cancels a subscription:

  • The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • The user will retain access to the Service until the end of the paid period
  • No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription
  • Cancellation does not immediately terminate access unless explicitly stated

6. Failed Payments and Grace Period

In the event of a failed payment:

  • Nexus will provide a grace period of seven (7) days
  • During this period, users may update payment information and complete the transaction

If payment is not successfully processed within the grace period:

  • Access to the Service may be suspended or restricted
  • Data and configurations may remain intact but inaccessible

TuringX reserves the right to terminate accounts for prolonged non-payment.

7. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued only under limited circumstances as described below.

7.1 Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

If a user upgrades or downgrades their subscription plan during an active billing cycle:

  • A pro-rata adjustment will be calculated based on the unused portion of the current subscription
  • The applicable difference may be credited or charged accordingly
  • Refunds, where applicable, are limited strictly to such plan changes

7.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Cancellation of a subscription
  • Partial use or non-use of the Service
  • Failure to cancel prior to renewal
  • Dissatisfaction with the Service after usage
  • Account suspension or termination due to policy violations

All fees paid are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this Policy.

8. Refund Processing

Where a refund is applicable:

  • Refund requests are processed within three to five (3–5) working days
  • Once processed, funds are typically credited within five to seven (5–7) working days, depending on the payment method and financial institution

Refund status may include: Pending, Processed, or Failed.

TuringX is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or external financial systems.

9. Taxes

All subscription fees may be subject to applicable taxes, including but not limited to GST, depending on the user’s location and applicable laws.

Users are responsible for any taxes associated with their subscription.

10. Changes to Pricing and Policy

TuringX reserves the right to:

  • Modify subscription pricing
  • Introduce new plans or features
  • Update this Policy

Changes will be communicated where required and will take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a billing error has occurred, you must contact us before initiating a chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of access
  • Termination of account
  • Restriction from future use of the Service

TuringX reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide evidence of service usage.
